Turn the Page!

Second rally scheduled this Saturday

If you haven't yet heard, there are still over 100,000 restaurants closed nationwide due to the pandemic.
Restrictions vary depending on who or where your business is located, and who has "perceived authority" to shut things down.  In St. Louis County's case, it's the dining rooms of  restaurants that have fallen victim to the arbitrary decision making on behalf of our County Executive, Sam Page.

Fact - St. Louis County has closed down restaurant dining rooms while the City of St. Louis and St. Charles County have not.

This Saturday, December 12th, we will have multiple rally locations in Chesterfield Valley with a kickoff group positioned in front of Sonic at 11:00 AM. Sybergs, Espinos, Rockn Brews and others will be participating in front of their locations and we plan on filling in the gaps along Airport Road.

Let's spend the day supporting each other! Let's show Sam Page we mean business!

Let's TURN THE PAGE!

----------
On Tuesday, November 17th, Sam Page, St. Louis County Executive, gave the order to tighten further the restrictions on restaurants and bars in response to reports of a surge of new COVID-19 cases. The restrictions mandated the closing of dining rooms across St. Louis County and without the approval of St. Louis County Council. St. Louis City and St. Charles County continue to operate dining rooms while employees, proprietors and vendors have been left to fend for themselves with the fraction of the income needed to survive.

The goal is to bring attention to the inequity of St. Louis County Executive Page's mandate of Safer at Home restrictions, and to demand that Resolution #2, already put forth and resolved by St. Louis County Council, be executed immediately.

Priorities and Actions this week of December 7th -

There are two important things from a priority perspective that we should act on. The first being the Covid Oversight for Expenditures Committee meeting Friday at 11:00 AM.  One question we have is if there are any Cares Act Funds being used to defend the lawsuit filed by the restaurants or other parties?

Priority Action #1 - Send comments as per attachment and show up via online to become more informed. The specifics are in the attachment. Below are two links to familiarize yourselves with the funds.

Priority Action #2 - Gather as many friends, family and acquaintances who want to resolve the inequity with St. Louis Counties Safer at home order. Encourage them to Come to Rally in the Valley 2.0; Open our Dining Rooms. The Rally will begin at 11:00 AM until 1:20 PM at the corner of Booneslick Road and Airport Road in Chesterfield Valley (in front of Sonic).
