Jimmyleg Signs John Maxfield Band

The John Maxfield Band has just signed with Jimmyleg Presents to do five shows at The Wolf Public House, Wednesday September 7th, Wednesday October 5th, Friday October 28th, Saturday, November 5th, and Wednesday November 16th.

"Jimmyleg Presents, in addition to its commitment to the St. Louis blues music scene, hand picks the most interesting up and coming Indy artists from the region to help build the renaissance of the artists genre" says Ralph Pfremmer aka, Jimmyleg and owner of the Wolf Public House.

"The John Maxfield Band is an amazing start to what will become an ongoing artist/promoter relationship project aimed at highlighting the best music in our area with a focus on entrepreneurial emergence; managing and growing the business of music and culture" Pfremmer said.

What's up with the Wolf?

The Wolf Public House is in its third year, a music venue born out of the blues and now a strong foothold in the community as a place to find the best music in the county. "The place has been kind of a workshop for everyone" says Pfremmer, who returned to music out of necessity to draw people to his emerging restaurant. "My band, Jimmyleg and the Browndawgs used to practice in what used to be my office, before we moved it out and created the Blackhawk room. We started performing on Wednesdays and the rest is a journey that returned me to my love of performance and event management". Pfremmer also owns Pfoodman Holdings, a multi unit restaurant company headquartered in the same building.

So now that the fall approaches, and there is a flurry of activity on behalf of The Wolf getting ready for the fall music calendar, a new focus on music and promotion comes into play and our season seems to be ramping up. The summer was huge, the Short Track Races, the concert in the parks, Ballwin Days, Creve Couer Days, look for Jimmyleg at the Wildwood BBQ Bash...
